Raw Video: CSU Wide Receiver Collides With 4-Year-Old
http://westindian.us (April 23, 2007)--A spring football game at Colorado State turned out to cause quite a bit of pain for one little boy.
Wide receiver George Hill was catching a touchdown pass Saturday when his momentum carried him into the end zone where he collided with a 4-year-old Caden Thomas who was among several kids playing on the sidelines as part of a children's festival at Hughes Stadium.
After being treated by the trainer for Colorado State and the team doctor, Caden's parents decided to take him to the hospital.
The boy needed stitches, but tests revealed no skull fracture or other trauma.
Caden got a signed CSU football and a call from the coach on Sunday.
The university is currently looking into changing its policies about allowing children on the field during games.
