Change the Margins -ppt from 4th Grade
Here is a presentation we left, with a cover letter at the State House. The students wrote a narration that they presented at an assembly for the whole school on APRIL 18,2008.

Dear Governor Deval Patrick:
Enclosed you will find a slide show and video about our project to Change the Margins.
If we all changed the margins on our printers
to .75" on all sides of our paper when we print
it would:
Save paper
Save trees
and help
Slow down global warming
We want you to make this margin change a policy for all offices in the State and in schools and anywhere state employees use paper. We have made this a policy at our school. 16 reams of paper equals one tree. The House o f representatives uses about 460 trees per year.
When many people decide to do this we will save millions of trees each year. And we would save money too. Please call or write to us if you need more information.
